Melia is 15 months old today! We went to the pediatrician for her well child visit.
She weighs 19lb 10oz (still to small for the big girl car seat!) and is 29 inches tall. She is in the 10th percentile for weight and 20th for height. She is growing and gaining weight, but definately slowing down. The doctor isn't overly concerned, but did say to make sure she gets plenty of healthy fats.
Developmentally the doctor said Melia is doing well. We knew that part. We think she is a Baby Einstein!
Two more rounds of vaccines today. MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and Varicella (chickenpox). We were given the option of not doing these, but with our upcoming travel plans the doctor recommended we stay on the recommended AAP schedule. She had to go back to daycare, so we will see how she is reacting tonight. She cried of course, and then it was naptime.
Melia has had some nasal drip and congestion for a few weeks. The weather has been all over the place, pollen has been insane and we have been doing work at the house. They gave us a script for Amoxycillian, so we will give it a try.
Next well child at 18 months!
