Makena was baptized on Mother's Day - Sunday, May 8th. It was a beautiful service at our church. We decided to have Makena baptized at the 8AM service because that is the normal service we attend. Melia was baptized at the 10AM service, which was probably easier for our guests, but that isn't our church family.
After the service we went to Chris' mom's house and had a nice breakfast with everyone that attended the service. Lisa made a great cake that would make Margaret proud! It was a beautiful day and a great way to celebrate Mother's Day!
